TriboGrade DLC Coating

NCD Technologies’ Diamond-like Carbon coating is the next best thing when it comes to diamond on tools.  It is affordable yet still offers an improvement in performance over an uncoated tool while cutting non-ferrous materials.  NCD employs a proprietary plasma-based process to create next generation DLC coatings on a variety of tool materials, geometries and sizes.  Thickness of the coating can be optimized for particular applications, but is typically in a range of .5 micron to 2 microns thick.
